You
thought I’d never leave, didn’t you Blogger? You thought you could treat me
however you wanted and I would stay because the inconvenience of transferring my
photos to another host wasn’t worth the trouble. You were wrong!
You refuse to move my photos where I want it.
You frequently refuse to load pages.
You take up to half an hour to upload photos.
You change the colour of my eyes without asking.
You make it hard for my friends to comment.
You basically suck in everyway possible so I am moving to Flickr. Sure, I might
have some trouble with Flickr, but at least it appreciates my photos, allows
people to flick (haha get it?) through them with ease, and gives me access to
like minded photographers.
Goodbye Blogger, I wont miss you.
For everyone who is still interested in following my blog, it is available in a
slightly different (and I think better) format over at http://www.flickr.com/photos/ceceliamay/
Bookmark it, favourite it and get excited for the next 255 upload stress free posts!

Day 109
Richo is my favourite footballer because he earnt my love by sending me birthday cards every year for about 7 years and he gave me hope and excitement in a team. Tiger woods is my favourite golfer because his name is Tiger, which is like the Richmond tigers. Roger Federer is my favourite Tennis player because he is nice, cried and talks too much about his daughter and its cute. Rajon Rondo is my favourite basketballer because he is adorably attractive, Colin loves him, and he tore his ACL at around the same time I was learning about ACL injuries.
Today, at my first live cricket match, Nathan Lyon earnt favourite cricketer status by wandering off the oval to sign autographs in between balls and rescuing a confiscated beach ball from a security guard and throwing back into the ecstatically thankful crowd. 'you arrre a Legend!' was chanted for quite some time after that..

Day 108
My neck painfully strained from yesterdays mucking around on the trampoline and I have my ever horrific cramps which means I am in pain literally from head to knee caps, I am just waiting to roll an ankle or something! The only thing that brings me solace on days like this is the joy that comes from wearing a crisp new pair of christmas undies.

Day 107
Boxing day; Lounging around, eating leftovers, watching cricket, enjoying storms and getting whiplash on the trampoline. Ouch.
Day 106
Merry Christmas! I got a remote for my camera! This christmas has been so exhausting and relaxing. Highlight: Beating my hypercompetitive Aunt at a game of petanque.
Lowlight: It's Christmas, what lowlight?
Interesting: I managed 5 outfit changes. If I had really tried I reckon I easily could have gotten 8.

Day 104
This is me trying to rouse myself from my post meal stupour. Christmas has well and truly begun!
I signed my lease today, which was more of an acheivement than you would think because the receptionist was SUCH an infuriating person!

Day 103
Emmeline always tells me off for insulting the food that I make to people, I guess the same rule applies for photos. What I will say about this is that the fact that it is blurry sent me spiralling into a tantrum of frustration at losing my remote. My day got better when I sat next to Opa at dinner. He is the wittiest guy I know but unless you are sitting right next to him you just can't hear it.

Day 102
Emmeline and I did our first Market today. Probably we couldn’t
count it as a sale success but gee I had a good time! We learnt a lot and it
was really great hanging out with Emme.

Day 101
WE GOT A HOUSE!! Yesterday I looked at three houses, each
better than the last. The last one I fell in love with so rather than waste any
time I spent all today filling out the mind bogglingly confusing applications
(seriously who even owns that much paperwork??) and my hard work was rewarded
at 4pm when the Real Estate agent called me to tell me that we had been
accepted. I would like to thank my mum for always telling me I can achieve
anything, Binny for spending her lunch break giving me a financial history, and
Allison, without whom I would not have navigated the the rental game nearly as
successfully.
In other almost (but not nearly) as exciting news, remember train guy who gave me Pringles a few weeks back? I saw him on a metro train and we caught up! what are the chances??
This photo was taken during the agonising waiting period of today when I nearly went insane..

Day 100
What better way to celebrate day 100 than with the unveiling of my new car! I'm not 100% decided on names but I am thinking maybe Sumi (pronounced sue-me). This photo was taken on the roof of the Footscray markets, which may actually be the most underrated view in Melbourne. You should appreciate this photo (of which the lovely Allison was the shutter technician ), because it is 40 degrees today so I literally burnt my arse on the roof of the car while I was sitting there.
Day 99
I
was stuck in traffic heading to the city today when, rather that let my ever
increasing frustration mount upon itself, I decided to spend my time more wisely. I took part in a little urban bushing bashing and attempted
to get myself to the city using only uncongested roads.
I ended up in a beautiful but desolate part of south bank and walked a
pleasant length to Flinders Street.
My whole journey probably took me an equal amount of time that it would
have taken via the traffic route but instead of arriving frustrated and ranting about parking and
peak hour I was able to meet up with my friends after a fun adventure that
led me to a wonderful photo opportunity.

Day 98
Dad gets a mention in today's post because he gave me sustenance in the form of a banana smoothie and a ferrero rocher while I was taking pictures with the sparklers. Sufficiently mentioned, Dad?

Day 97
I haven't been sewing very much lately. Thats probably partly to do with moving home, and mostly to do with my sewing machine breaking. Today I broke that drought! Lozzie and I spent the afternoon in her loungeroom with two sewing machines, separately working on our own projects. Here's mine..

Day 96
Babies are so cute! Even if they do overheat and start crying and wriggling around. the best thing about stinking hot days is the balmy night that follows. Mum and I went to Carols by Candlelight and had a lovely walk home in the warm evening air.

Day 95
I was walking to the library one day at primary school when I heard a slithery rustle and I thought I saw something brown under the library portable. My body reacted with a jolt of adrenaline and I leapt into to the library. Upon my entrance I dramatically regaled my suspicions of a snake under the library to a captive audience. It felt good! I knew that for the rest of the day I would be a celebrity. What I didnt anticipate was how seriously the staff would take my account of the snake. Everyone was locked down in the library and teachers questioned me about where I saw the snake, what it looked like, if I saw it slither away etc, while other teachers searched all under the library and around surrounding areas for the snake. The more I thought about it, the more I knew that all I had heard was a bird in the bushes and my imagination had conjured the rest. I was in too deep. I had disrupted half an hour of the entire schools time, and if I backed out now I would expose myself for the attention seeking fraud that I was. So I lied. I kept up the story of the snake, I owned my false account of it and I modestly deflected my now guilt riddled fame from the other students.
10 years I have felt guilty for lying about that snake. It feels good to finally get it off my chest.

Day 94
It took 6 phone calls, 5 doorbell rings, 4 sharp knocks on my window, 3 dog barks, 2 alarms and 1 crazy name-yelling mother in the yard to wake me up this morning. The problem of my deep sleeping has been encountered before but today takes the cake, I think I may have been comatose.
When I finally did wake up I had a lovely day with Mum which included personalising baubles with sparkly names.

Day 94
Day 92
I really struggled to write a caption to go with this photo. I wanted to
talk about how shit cancer is but I don't feel qualified to about it.
I have wanted to take this photo for awhile. Pink ribbon day* was in October and I was distracted with dresses, so I didn't get it done then. This wasn't originally what I had in my head for the photo to look like, but I think its gets across, in a reasonably succinct way, how I feel about Cancer.

Day 90
Tonight I really wanted to tell you about women's group and how much I love the women there and the sharing and support that it provides, but I have been distracted with a story of triumph! I just spent 20 minutes racking my brain and scouring youtube for a song of which I knew only one (questionable) line. Eventually I gave up and put on a song which I didnt really know, but it had been mentioned on scrubs* today.
IT WAS THE SONG! best surprise ever! My subconscious was looking out for me :)

*I FINISHED SCRUBS TODAY! I can finally have my life back!

Day 88
Day 87
I helped out at Youth Group tonight and I realised how little everything changes. The same games, the same cliques, the same loners and the same girls flocking to the resident Stud Muffin. If I have learnt anything since high school, it is how to interact with attractive males in a much cooler and more subtle way than Year 9 girls.

Day 86
Today I baked and baked and baked and baked and didn't take a photo. When I get to the end of the day without a photo I usually spend 20 minutes taking a gazillion selfies that are shocking, then settle on one and spend half an hour editing it to incomprehensibility. Tonight it occurred to me that I am allowed to just take one okay photo and spend my time sleeping instead.

Day 85
So tonight the one and only Mark 'The Falcon' Fogarty is hacking Cel's blog. I'm here to drink milk, kick ass and talk about Doctor Who. And I'm done with the ass and the milk. So how about Doctor Who, eh? The latest episode, 'The Day of the Doctor' was amazing. Would recommend. Three doctors at once? Soo many girl's fantasies just came true. And Peter Capaldi makes his first appearance! There is an easy way to make homemade napalm from petrol and jelly mix. If you'd like details, contact this blog.

Day 84
People don't skinny dip enough. That being said, when a lovely middle aged couple started swimming in the same part of Lake Catani, I was mighty glad for my underwear.

Day 83
Its that time of year again! The time when my wonderfully overactive conscience switches off and Jocelyn and I go on the felonious adventure to find this year's Christmas tree.

Day 82
I sometimes get stuck in the trap of thinking that I was a much better person when I was younger. 6 year old Cel had memorised the entire Richmond Football Team, 8 year old Cel taught herself how to backflip on the trampoline, 10 year old Cel wrote a letter of concern to her local Council, 12 year old Cel was on a Community steering committee, 15 year old Cel lived in America, 17 year old Cel could back a trailer and 19 year old Cel planned and executed a solo trip around the world!
What do I have to show for the last 2 years?
